Competition Groom/Rider

Wellington Riding:

We are looking for a dedicated person to join Wellington Riding as a Competition Groom/Rider. This unique role is based within a busy International Equestrian Centre, working with industry professionals. To work with an international performance programme connected with The Hong Kong Jockey Club. Ability to perform a variety of duties with competition horses to ensure excellent care and standards. Flexibility to work from home and travel to competitions.

Role hours and benefits:

• 47.5 hour average week, taken as a 6-day working week and 1 weekend in 4 off.
• Working day 7.30am – 5.30pm.
• 2 hours of in-house training per week towards your next qualification.
• 50% off all purchases in the café
• Purchases in the shop at discounted rate.
• 28 days holiday including statutory holidays.
• Weekends and Bank holidays are considered working days.
