Chef de Partie – Farm Shop Cafe (40 hours per week)

The Wellington Farm Shop is part of the Duke of Wellington's historic estate at Stratfield Saye on the Hampshire/Berkshire border. Launched in 2005, the Farm Shop and Café offer estate grown meats, local produce and homecooked foods.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, enthusiastic and energetic individual to take on the role of Chef de Partie. This is a customer facing, hands-on role so you need to be
confident, presentable and have a can-do attitude working in a lively and fun environment.

Reporting to the Head Chef, this is a unique opportunity in a daytime only business. If you have a passion for creating exceptional dishes, providing an outstanding dining experience, we want to hear from you!

You must have the Right to Work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with our café standards
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Maintain consistency and presentation across all dishes
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are always met
• Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining high standards
• Assist with stock control, prep, and kitchen organisation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and current culinary trends
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced, busy kitchen
• Proactive, organised, and able to use initiative
• A positive team player who thrives working within a close-knit kitchen team
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required (no evenings)
